It may imply a condition of being apart from all human beings or of being cut of f from one\u2019s usual associates.<\/li><li><strong>Decimate<\/strong>: To destroy a large number.<\/li><li><strong>Dissent<\/strong>: To differ in opinion, especially from the majority.<\/li><li><strong>Perishable<\/strong>: Liable to spoil or decay.<\/li><li><strong>Indentured labour<\/strong>: Is an employee (indentured) within a system of unfree labour, who is bound by a contract (indenture) to work for a particular employer for a fixed period of time.<\/li><li><strong>Tariff<\/strong>: A tax or duty to be paid on a particular class of imports or exports.<\/li><li><strong>Great Depression<\/strong>: The economic crisis period of low business activity in the U.S. and other countries, roughly beginning with the stock-market crash in 1929 and continuing through most of the 1930s.<\/li><li><strong>International Monetary Fund<\/strong>: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is an international organization, created for the purpose of standardizing global financial relations and exchange rates. The IMF generally monitors the global economy, and its core goal is to economically strengthen its member countries.<\/li><li><strong>World Bank<\/strong>: Is an international financial institution that provides loans to developing countries for capital programs.
